DROOGDOK MATSCHAPPIJ SOERABAJA

History of PT. Dok Perkapalan Surabaya (Persero) - DPS, began on September 22, 1910 when the Dutch colonial government established Droogdok Maatschappij NV. It was originally intended for the Dutch ship services in Indonesia.

Between 1942 and 1945, the company is managed by the Government of Japan under the name Harima Zosen. After the nationalization of the company on January 1, 1961, Droogdok Maatschappij NV Soerabaja into a state-owned company named PN Dok dan Perkapalan Surabaya.

Based on the Ministry of Communications of the Sea in 1963, shipyards Source Bhaita integrated into the company. Then, since January 8, 1976 the company has assumed a new legal status as PT. Dok Perkapalan Surabaya (Persero), DPS.
